Jun. 17, 2021, we got news in Taiwan – A-mei appears on New York’s Times Square LED billboard. 

The reason she was on the billboard is for a campaign of one big music platform. The issue they are talking about is for “Women’s Equality”.

I know actually we talk about “Gender Equality ”rather than just speak for one gender. Then why do we still talk about “Women’s Equality”? 

I think maybe we’ve been through history, culture and also real life which make us think we are not good enough to stand out. Oh, here “we”represent “Women”.

That’s why we need more and more people to speak out that no matter which gender you are, you deserve to do anything withtout any discrimination or stereotype. You, as a human being, can be proud of yourself. You can show yourself in any way to the world and you definitely get the right to do it.

A-mei is a famous singer who was born in Taiwan. She always speaks for the weakness and she always speaks for the gender issues. I am not sure if everyone knows how famous she is but she is the one you have to know. The news said she is the diva in Taiwan and she ever sang the song with Andrea Bocelli in Italy. She uses music to help people. As a celebrity, she tried best to contribute to society. 

She is really somebody to Taiwanese.

She always encourages women to chase our dream. And she also encourages women with her songs.

These two years we all fell into COVID-19 pandemic. I  saw a  lot of people gone from their lives and also heard lots of stories with regrets. I just realized I didn’t do many things for myself and I decided to start to do something for myself.

The thing I want to do first is writing. I have lots of ideas and feelings that I want to record. I told myself if I really want to do it, then just do it. Then, I started to write. No matter if anyone will read it, I just want to keep something for myself. And I think I did it.

When you throw away those things you are afraid of, you will make anything happen. Right now, I love to share the ideas through the articles to people. Who knows, maybe one day, someone will be helped by my words.

To those who don’t have enough confidence in themselves, I hope you can get more power from this world. I need you to believe that  although  you can’t do things perfectly in the beginning, one day it will be perfect as what you imagined in your mind.

Be brave. No matter what gender you are, what color you are, what type you are. You are just the unique and only special one.
